A Healing Gospel
“He sent them forth to preach the Kingdom and to heal the sick” Luke 9:2.

Imagine a gospel that gives babies a good start in life body, mind, and spirit; heals your body when something goes wrong on the way through life; and supports good health to the end of a ripe old age before you die peacefully in your sleep!
Imagine a gospel that fulfills a 2000 year old prayer “thy Kingdom come ON EARTH as it is in heaven”; heals things that are “incurable” with drugs but curable by natural things God made; and provides for your needs just as it does for the “birds of the air” in such loving detail that “even the very hairs of your head are all numbered” ((John 1:3; Luke 12:7; Matt 6:26).
Stop imagining. Here it is. A gospel of kindness with “salvation” for both body and soul for all of God’s children at all ages is long overdue.
A Healing Gospel starts with truth. While there are millions of ways to get sick but only one pathway to wholeness. It works by real food for both body and soul - Nutrition-for-life. It asks us to trust Jesus, words and deeds, and God’s ways to fertilize soil; grow food; feed a baby; heal the sick. Soon you will see the problem with churches resting on the sidelines as RFK Jr. and friends show kindness to America’s little ones and the sick and suffering.
God’s ways of healing are as different from a symptom fix by a drug as a dark night is to a beautiful sunrise. A prescription for insulin only “treats” diabetes, but if you give the beta cells of Islets of Langerhans good nutrition to make insulin as needed, that’s healing. Some doctors do this routinely. The same applies to losing body fat with real food and exercise that melts fat cells blocking insulin receptor sites on membranes of cells, thus lowering “insulin resistance”. That’s healing. Compare that and a trim body to costly insulin shots every day for the rest of your life, and that’s not all.
For some the difference between “treat” and “heal” is heaven or hell.
TRUE STORY - in the mid 1980’s while in the power lift chair business I met a man on the south side of Milwaukee in a wheelchair with no arms, no legs. He was in the end stage of diabetes experiencing the best modern medicine could offer. I had to explain that a lift chair could get him up…then what? He didn’t have legs to walk or hold himself. He didn’t have arms to hold himself up or transfer to a wheelchair. What good would a lift chair be? At this point I saw hope turn to sick despair as he realized his predicament. Never have I looked into the eyes of another soul and seen such despair.
A few weeks later A MIRACLE - a different gentleman from Brown Deer called all excited, praising God. His leg had been black and blue from the end stage of diabetes. His doctor told him “I must cut it off within two weeks or you will die”. He took a food source multi-vitamin. His leg turned back to a healthy pink. As he talked, I could hear the thankfulness and joy in his voice. When I wrote this in 1995 about 75,000 arms and legs were cut off every year due to a sugar problem. Today it’s about 150,000 all for nothing.
That’s a small glimpse into the blessings of doing things God’s way and the hell of not. You will appreciate this if you or someone you love has such a personal hell or heaven experience. Heaven’s way can happen by a natural cancer therapy, fasting and praying, or power of a lemon. So much joy and misery depend on who understands A Healing Gospel and who doesn’t.
Meanwhile, honor medicine for what it is good at. Honor God for what He is good at. God is good at life, galaxies, puppies, healing - things like that.
How do God’s Ways Work?
God’s ways of healing can work two ways. One is body to mind like the man who saved his black and blue leg with a natural multi. His thankfulness and joy brought him closer to heaven. Another example is hi-fiber raw fruits and veggies that support gut microbes that make butyrate, a key biomolecule in the-gut-brain connection, stress management, immunity, mental health etc. Hellish examples are minds and lives ruined by addictions to alcohol, sugar, junk food etc. or any symptom fix that ignores underlying causes.
The other way for God’s healing power to work is psychosomatic, mind to body. An example is forgiveness that releases tremendous healing energy by un-stressing and balancing the autonomic nervous system (ANS) which then balances pH, digestion, body systems, and mitochondrial energy production in 40 trillion cells. The same power comes from trusting God. Some call it faith. Love adds amazing grace to everything. All things “Jesus” are healing and saving including His name. Jesus is a “pearl of great price” to rejoice over when found as other treasures fail. Anyone understanding 10% of this will wonder how humanity could have ever strayed from God’s ways.
Meanwhile the Dirty Truth
The dirty truth is that most of us are missing or low in elements essential to a healthy body, brain, and mind. If vanadium, chromium, zinc and others are not in the soil, they can’t be in the food. Essential elements must not only be present for our bodies to work right, they must also be in a heaven-made ratio with each other. Life is a balancing act. Oxygen balances with CO2, potassium with sodium, zinc with copper, phosphorous with calcium etc. Thousands of complex body parts and systems depend on balances of key elements to work right. Some doctors test for these balances but not all.
By heaven’s design, ratios of elements in our bodies depend on a balanced presence in soil, food, and fertilizer. God’s plan for fertilizer is animal waste plus plant decay enriched by photosynthesis. 200 or so years ago this resulted in 20 inches of topsoil in America rich in elements including “rare earth” ones that “double the lifespan of lab animals” (Wallach). Hungarian scientist Albert Svent Gyorgi, who won a Nobel prize for discovering vitamin C in 1937, found that rare earth elements increased activity of biomolecules 500%. How did things go wrong? Along came chemical farming, pesticides, missing elements, more cancer.
God is not mocked. Disrespect brings pain. We all need to help RFK Jr. resurrect “regenerative” agriculture.
Imagine the temporal and eternal blessings if we learn to do four things right: fertilize soil, grow food, feed a baby, heal the sick! Imagine fruits and vegetables without pesticides you can’t wash off and elements in proper balance, so you don’t have to think about it. Imagine calcium in a proper ratio to phosphorous for strong bones, sodium to potassium for healthy blood pressure (“life-death” ratio); 500 “dead zones” at ends of major rivers coming back to life including one at end of the Mississippi as big as Rhode Island. Imagine a world that trusts God’s ways of life and healing!
Jesus didn’t suffer, die, and rise just to save souls for the sweet by and by while ignoring hell on earth. He said “Heal the sick - Be merciful”. He taught us to pray "Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done, ON EARTH as it is in heaven”.
How wonderful it is to have a Savior Who loves us so much!
